I'm very happy to be participating in Costa Rica's Central Bank Museum's exhibition 'Re-imaginar Frontera' (Re-imagining Borders), curated by María José Monge, and to be a part of this catalogue publication which connects visual art from the museum's collection to current pressing issues. "..this pandemic has raised unprecedented scenarios in terms of social and environmental control, which add new nuances to unresolved situations in terms of border management in its diverse meanings: from those associated with territorial sovereignties, passing by the indiscriminate exploitation of environmental resources, humanitarian crises and policies related to the migration of people, including the administration of the public and the private through the control of bodies and the use of new technologies." (Monge, 2021)
